Tomi Isobe - Ko'u Huaka'i ( My Journey)
Ko'u Huaka’i (My Journey) is a celebration of my 10-year tenure on the Big Island of Hawaii. I am incredibly grateful to be surrounded by the wonderful people, nature and culture of this beautiful land.
In 2010, I was finally able to move to the Big Island’s Kona coast where I have been blessed to make my life by singing and playing music. On this album I sing in English, Hawaiian, Japanese and Spanish. It was a considerable challenge for me but I made it through with the unbelievable help of my friend, wonderful musician and recording engineer, Sonny Lim.
